INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATED WOMEN IN WINE
5th CONGRESS & 4th GENERAL ASSEMBLY
JUNE 1 - 3, 2006 SANTORINI
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that the 5th Congress and 4th General Assembly of the International Associated Women in Wine, hosted by the Association "Greek Women of Wine" will take place on the famous island of Santorini in Greece, from 1-3rd June 2006.
During the 3rd General Assembly in Munich Germany (June 2005), the board decided to have the 2006 General Assembly in Santorini, running parallel to the Ampelos 2006 International Symposium on the evaluation and exploitation of grapes of corresponding terroir through winemaking and commercialization of wines. Many well-known personalities in the wine industry will participate in this Conference. We believe that this is a great opportunity for our members to attend these simultaneous events if they wish.
In the framework of our 5th IAWW Congress we will also be organizing a discussion on the topic "Women as wine consumers and wine buyers".
It is very important for all our members to participate in this year's event since 2006 is the year of our elections and the present board is finishing its term.
